Product Overview

The 4‑axle oil tank semi‑trailer is specially designed for bulk transportation of diesel, gasoline, kerosene, palm oil and other liquid oil products. It is widely applied in gas‑station distribution, mine fuel supply and cross‑border petroleum logistics. Optimized for complex road conditions in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia, its four‑axle structure realizes well‑balanced axle‑load distribution, taking both large‑volume loading and road compliance into account. Multiple independent compartments are available for simultaneous delivery of different oil types to greatly improve transport efficiency. The tank body can be made of high‑strength carbon steel or aluminum alloy with customizable volume from 45000L to 55000L, and 1‑6 separate compartments are optional to satisfy diversified customer demands.

Core Structure & Configuration

Tank Body

  1. Tank Material: Main‑stream option is 5 mm high‑strength carbon steel with 6 mm thickened steel for heads; 5083 aluminum alloy is optional for lightweight design to reduce tare weight and increase effective payload.
  2. Compartment Design: Multiple independent compartments equipped with separate pipelines, manholes, breathing valves and vapor recovery valves to avoid cross‑contamination and realize simultaneous transport of different oil products.
  3. Internal Structure: Built‑in reinforced anti‑surge baffles weaken liquid impact during braking and cornering, enhance driving stability and extend tank service life.
  4. Welding Technology: Automatic longitudinal welding. Every unit passes hydrostatic sealing test before delivery to prevent leakage.
  5. Valve System: Fitted with API bottom loading/unloading valves and pneumatic emergency shut‑off valves to cut off oil flow rapidly in case of hose rupture or accidents. Explosion‑proof manhole covers, breathing valves and vapor recovery devices are supplied as standard. Static grounding strap is equipped to release static electricity generated during oil loading and unloading and eliminate safety risks.

Chassis & Running Gear

  1. Axles: Four pieces of 13‑ton heavy‑duty axles (Fuhua / BPW optional). Lifting‑axle function for the first axle is available. Lifting the axle under empty‑load conditions reduces tire wear and fuel consumption for long‑distance overseas operation.
  2. Suspension: Mechanical leaf‑spring suspension is preferred for rough bumpy roads for high durability and easy maintenance; air suspension is optional for smoother ride and better tank protection for highway transport.
  3. Fifth‑wheel Kingpin: 50# / 90# bolt‑type kingpin compatible with mainstream tractors. Heavy‑duty JOST landing gear ensures stable bearing capacity.
  4. Braking System: Dual‑circuit air brake system with WABCO valve components. ABS / EBS is optional for sensitive braking performance and higher safety under heavy‑load downhill conditions. Full set of LED export‑standard lamps.
  5. Tires: 12R22.5 radial vacuum tires with spare tire, puncture‑resistant and wear‑resistant for unpaved roads.

Coating & Accessories

Whole trailer goes through sandblasting and rust removal, with primer plus double‑layer polyurethane topcoat for high‑temperature and salt‑alkali corrosion resistance. Standard accessories include fire extinguishers on both sides, anti‑slip walkway and protective guardrails. Custom color is available. White tank reduces oil evaporation loss caused by sunlight exposure.
